One Piece Chapter 801. We’ve come a long way folks and this chapter was chock full of information, foreshadowing and setups. Probably one of the better chapters to come out for the year. And without further ado, let’s jump right in. First of all, right off the bat, CP0. Confirmation of Rob Lucci and Spandam being CP0 members. Possibly Kaku as well. Lucci may be talking to Kaku and we can tell this by the way he speaks. We literally see Spandam, Lucci’s pigeon and Lucci's distinctive beard are shown. We also have the bounty increases which I suppose makes sense, although a lot of them weren’t much involved with the events at Dressrosa; but that’s not important right now. We also got a much different silhouette of Big Mom as well as our first silhouette of Ryokugyu (The Green Bull). Doflamingo and Tsuru’s conversation was also intriguing as it will eventually become a major plot point for later and then there was "Captain Jack." Now from what I could personally tell, it looks like Captain Hand-Axe Morgan, but I’m going to write that off because I have a hard time believing someone that weak could get that far into New World and I refuse to believe he got that strong that fast.
Now on to what everyone’s probably wondering about. Sanji. We may be entering a character arc for Sanji who’s been more than useless since the timeskip commenced. Not only has Sanji’s bounty increased, it’s the only wanted poster we’ve ever seen that said "alive only." This means if you wish to collect the bounty for Sanji, he must be returned alive. But why? Why Sanji? WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU? I’ve had my personal thoughts about him for a while and here are my current thoughts:
Sanji is of noble/royal blood and/or important ancestry. It’s possible that he is the son of one the Gorosei, but I won’t go into that for now. I’ll just stick with him being a Noble. Now, I say this for several reasons. I want to start with my weakest point. His blond hair. Tons of high status/class and noble characters from this universe have blond hair (a few Celestial Dragons, Sabo’s mom, Sabo, Doflamingo's dad, Doflamingo, Rosinante) etc. But that’s not really anything credible. Secondly, are his unique eyebrows and the fact that half his face is always covered. I liked to think these things were just for all intents and purposes, for swag, but c’mon. It’s Oda. You can’t ever overlook anything. I mean look at the fact that Sanji’s original poster lead to the mix-up with Duval and now that they have an actual picture of his face, all of a sudden he’s wanted alive? Something is fishy. Could swirly eyebrows be a trademark of his family and is he intentionally hiding part of his face?

"Mister Prince" was the alias that Sanji came up with on Alabasta. Another small thing I simply want to write of as “he just said it to sound cool”, not to mention princes are supposed to save princesses right? Sanji’s all about the ladies so everyone wrote it off. And that’s why now I’m conscious of that fact. I reacted probably just as Oda wanted me to. Why did he specifically choose "Mr Prince"? Another part of One Piece that made me upset was the fact that Sanji kept having those near death nosebleeds. But do you recall what Chopper said when transfusing blood into Sanji? He has an incredibly RARE blood type: “S-RH.” I won’t dive into the real world implications of what having that type of blood entails but, the fact that his blood type is rare could mean that his family lineage kept a pure and noble bloodline.
What exactly did Sanji do before he was a chef? Where did he come from? Around the time that we learn about Norland Montblanc, Sanji revealed to have known about this story and tells us he's from NORTH Blue. Lvneel Kingdom, where Norland is from is also in North Blue. I’m not saying Sanji is from that kingdom, but the question I’m asking is where the fuck did he come from? Where’s his parents? Why haven’t we heard any mention of them? How come no one “passes away” In his “backstory” (which I always found to be more of a chapter in his life than a concrete, fleshed out flashback about his upbringing)? Could he be a runaway prince?
I also want to bring up Sanji’s style of dressing, lecherous demeanor and mannerisms. Sanji is always well dressed, Nobles can have as many wives as they want, Sanji’s showers everyday (Luffy and Zoro bathe once a week) and has on numerous occasions shown to be chivalrous. He doesn’t hit women. And let’s be honest, I DOUBT Zeff was the one who taught him that nonsense. He was a well known pirate on the Grand Line, he couldn't be so naïve to not be willing to kick women. So where did Sanji learn that from? Lastly, recall Sanji’s words to Bartholomew Kuma. Something along being the biggest problem for the World Government in the future. This was probably a double statement that had two meanings. We take it as a boast of his potential growth in speed and power but..could it have meant more?

Before I continue to ramble on about this let me just summarize and wrap up. I am not a big One Piece theorist. I have my predictions, thoughts and speculations based off my extensive One Piece knowledge but I usually keep them to myself. But, the same way Robin always seemed a little off to me, the same way I never thought Itachi was “a bad guy”, there was something about Sanji that always seemed different. A lot of these things are probably me reaching and some of these things may be nothing more than what it was intended to be. However sometimes, I see patterns that relate to each other. No matter how small or insignificant. And with that, these things stop being mere coincidences to me and become, probable. So, Sanji’s mannerisms, style, rare blood, eyebrows, lack of backstory, hair colour, words to Kuma and the other mentioned stuff is why I think he’s probably got some kind of noble or royal blood in his veins. He’d have to be the son of someone important to be wanted back alive.
P.S: As a sidenote, part of me wants to think that maybe the Navy just wants Intel on the Revolutionaries because Sanji was with Ivankov for two years….but anyways, time will tell. End of disorganized rant.
